With all the changes in technology, the music business has gone hi-tech. the sound is not just produced by listening to tunes on a keyboard. Music is mixed, recorded, and re-recorded to produce the best quality sound possible. Highly skilled people are needed to fill those positions.

No longer can the lack of radio support or obtaining a record deal be the scapegoat for a band or individual artist's not being able to gain national attention. The playing field from what it used to be 10, and definitely 20 years ago is now basically on even level. Sure, there are many who have more of the advantages, but due to the leveling of the playing field, the same things can be achieved by anyone, with a little more grinding... and a lot more paying attention and making use of the advantages you now have playing in your favor.

Hip-Hop artists are doing it themselves. Authors are publishing their own books. Anyone with a quality HD camera and the hunger for cinema can make a film. And you know what? Because of the internet, there is no longer a middle man needed distribution reaches to your audience.

Fashion Trends For Spring 2009

While bundling up against the cold temperatures and snow, I look forward with great anticipation to spring and being able to shed by warm layers in favor of light and flowing warm weather fashions. As part of my defense against a harsh winter, I have compiled a list of trends that seem to be emerging for spring 2009.

Light, gauzy fabrics in layers have made their way down the runway in dresses and tops. Flowing dresses in floral patterns are being seen paired with ankle-strap stilettos. The color palette for these lovely, feminine dresses ranges from bright citrus to watercolors to neutrals and nudes.

Skinny pants are still in, with the 7/8 length cigarette pant appearing in a wide array of bright colors and are fun and sassy with sky-high platform shoes and a cropped jacket.

Harem pants are also making an appearance, but do not panic. These are far from "Hammer" or "Genie" pants. With a tailored styling, these pants are great paired with anything from a delicate chemise to a casual, rolled-sleeve blazer.

Jumpsuits are here in lightweight, draping fabrics and styles. Accessorized with belts and heavy jewelry, these easy-to-wear outfits are stylish in long leg as well as short styles.

Famous Spanish People - Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz Sanchez was born on April 28, 1974 in Madrid, Spain. She has been twice nominated for both the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards, although she has never won either. Her film debut was in the Spanish Film Jamon, Jamon in 1992, in which she played the role of Silvia. Madonna Never Stops

Madonna spoke about her success and how she feels now after all those years that are behind her. She is, and should be very proud to her career.

Pop - queen said to the mag: "I had many goals... I did get to a point where I thought, 'I'm being overambitious, I'm trying to say too much, I'll never accomplish it.' But I feel proud of the fact that I did get to make all my points."

She also gave advice to her fans and everybody who respect her work: "If all you can do is live life in YOUR world in a way that shows you are responsible for the people around you, that's a course of action! People can be of service in large ways and small."

"We're all going there together at the end of March," she said, referring to David, 8-year-old son Rocco and 12-year-old daughter Lourdes.

Singer was talking about her plans to build a school in Malawi. She will take her kids, David, Rocco and Lourdes with her: "We're all going there together at the end of March ! I'm very involved in a lot of things that are going on there! And David's always going to understand where he came from, and what his life could have been like."

Educational Grants For Women

Women have come a long way, however, with respect to higher education and the corporate world, woman are largely under-represented. Ironically, fewer men than women actual receive their undergraduate degrees. This equation becomes even more skewed when the women in question are minorities.

There are a plethora of government grant programs for women of all classes and economic standings, it's all about finding grants that are relevant to your unique situation. Here are X fool-proof steps that if you follow you can receive Educational Grants for women.

1. Apply for a Government Grant kit (see my source box) - If you are approved you pay a small shipping and handling fee to receive the grant kit.
2. After you receive your kit, find grants and loans you are QUALIFIED for and are RELEVANT to you! These are obviously going to be women educational grants or the like.
3. Make sure you qualify for the grant in question. There is no point to apply for an educational grant or student loan that you are not qualified for. It's a complete waste of your time and resources so make sure you qualify.
4. OK, you have found a grant you are qualified for and feel that relates to your situation. You are now ready to apply for the grant. Make sure you follow all the instructions provided with applying for such a grant. The application process can be tedious but I promise it's worth it!

Naomi Campbell: Home Run Hitter

So-called "Supermodel" Naomi Campbell can't get enough of whacking the crap out of the help. She was before a New York court the other day trying to work out a sweetheart deal so she can avoid real punishment for her increasingly psychotic behavior. Maid Ana Scolavino accused Campbell of hitting her with a cell phone. Ms. Scolavino is in a long line of former( thank goodness) maids who were assaulted by this "Supersomething." This is now Campbell's ninth rap in eight years for doing similar things. As usual, she skates off free. She has just been sued by another former maid alleging Naomi is a "violent super-bigot." She has scratched one person on the face, threatened to throw another out a car, hit another with a cellphone and was even sued for false imprionment and assault. In other words, it is time for Campbell to go to jail... which she won't. Anybody else with such a record would be fighting off others for toilet paper in prison. But this "important" person- she stands around looking good while others work- gets nothing. It is disgusting.

As usual, people with money get off or at least buy time. Well, it is time for a judge to step up and do something to fight this apparent predator.

Any audition can be a scary event, whether this is for modeling, acting or any other job. If you have recently landed yourself a modeling audition then congratulations! Here is a quick guide on how to really shine in your audition and get that job.

Every model needs to believe in themselves. It is always important to have an air of confidence about you when you enter that room. If you do, the employer will surely notice and realize you are something different - which is a good thing!

To win the audition you will need to show that you are worthy, that you have talent. However, the word 'talent' in itself is extremely relative, and can depend on exactly what you are good at. No matter what it is that you are good at, make sure that this comes across in your audition. If you are good and carrying yourself show them that, if you are confident let it shine. Just be you, and show them exactly why they need you. It is a great idea to think of something that can differentiate you from all the others who are being auditioned, and who you will have to beat.

Beyond talent your modeling audition will definitely involve looks. This will be specific to what you are modeling for, as each different job could require a different look.
