Need to find people? Or locate friends, family or acquaintances for a reunion? Whatever your reason to use a people finder, People search on the internet is huge! Just knowing a persons name and address, you can probably locate them by using a free people search.
Just Google their name(s) and see what happens. Most obvious problem with that would be… you guessed it, common last names. Jones, Smith, Walker, Young just to name a few. What about the recently deceased, getting married (name change) and not wanting to be found (hiding from a creditor) especially in today's economy! See what I'm talking about?
In fact, some people will not be found. There is no guarantee that you will find who you are looking for. Think about this, the key word "people search" (without quotes) has been used 83 Million times over the last 12 months on Google! Everyday, so many people try to find someone without success.
Besides the name, what do you really know about them? Do you know where they were born, where they currently reside, or where they used to live? Do you know their age(s) or DOB? Background checks are real helpful here. So ask yourself these questions.
Did they serve in the military; are they still active or retired?
Do you know what high school or college they attended?
Are they avid outdoors people? (Campers, hunters, fishers etc)
Are they registered to vote? Yes, voter records are public records.
Is your subject a professional? Are they licensed and insured?
Do you know how to find someone's email address?
Are they currently employed? Where did they used to work?
Here are some traditional, proven methods to think about.
Call the DMV of the state where your subject lives and ask them to do a name search on drivers licenses and registrations while you hold. Some states will do this.
Contact the Utility companies. See if they get bills (and who doesn't) Remember to be pleasant on the phone and honest about why you are requesting the information that they can provide.
If you found who you were looking for, Good Work!
If not, I recommend http://www.honestpeoplesearch.com. Even though paid search services are not 100% effective. They have access to billions of records and many databases that are not available to you, and may be able to help you locate your subject right now.
Lives with wife of 24 years, Patricia. They have 3 daughters and 7 grandkids
